magazines comeback?

I think no one is no stranger to magazines but I do believe someone is grieving the early 2000s magazines' style more than others. The quizzes, the advices and the tea, all in just one printed out magazine. It definitely changed live and made love happen

Is it possible that this specific style is coming back?

Let me give you a ride on the nostalgia coaster for once.

Today's topic is magazines and how they are definitely not the same anymore and probably because everyday lesser and lesser people read them, sadly. But when all the magazine's hype started and why?

One of the earliest magazines was a German one called Erbauliche Monaths-Unterredungen, which means Edifying monthly discussions. The different issues have been published from 1663 to 1668. As always the word spread and 1700s these early magazines appeared in Italy, France and England. 

But in the 1900s, magazines were at their finest!

While at first these journals had a learning goal, starting from the 19th century they were issued more entertaining magazines rather than educative one.

With technology's big entry on our lives, magazines had to keep up, so they made online versions and that is when zines became more popular!

Now let's all be honest, the american ones had something more appealing than the others.

Maybe it was the whole american dream and all the movies that I watched, but I do believe so and you cannot change my mind

I mean after all some of the most popular magazines are american: Seventeen, Vogue, Cosmopolitan... I could go on and on

Imagine: you're going to the hairstylist, you enter and you go to the waiting room. You sit down and you take teen magazine and start reading it. You find out about what's trending, take a quiz on how compatible you are with your crush and read about make up advices!

Since phone arrived magazine's kind of disappeared from our lives, because we have everything one click away.

But don't we miss it? Do we really like having everything on a rectangle screen? It's like using a 4 in 1 shampoo, maybe it is easier but it won't make your hair shiny and silky.

As always, I'm a nostalgia queen so you don't have to take me that serious. But, if Vogue and Cosmopolitan are still very popular and with elle the serie coming out, maybe there's hope for a magazine's comback like cds and tapes'!!

I believe that they're getting a lot of hype and regaining their popularity on Tik Tok, plus more magazines are getting out!!

The most popular right now is Sakuranbo, a very girly magazines with a clean, minimal look. I do have to warn you, it is pretty pricey, but thankfully I have others options!

Moon magazine, an independent magazine that celebrates arts and creativity, still pricey but more affordable!

Teen gazette, you can be a part of this one too! It's a magzine that gives a voice to teens across the world who wanna share their passion

A Girl's diary, make up and fashion inspos, like you're getting rady with your best friend.

Some classics that are still alive in our days are definitely Seventeen and Teen Vogue with fashion advices real life stories.

A not-so-known nowadays but still very good is Nylon that always features pop celebrities such as Olivia Rodrigo.

Unfortunately, nowadays most of the classics magazines publish mainly online, but maybe things will change!

New magazines are mainly printed out, and it could inspire the older one to come back to their roots and, who knows, maybe the 2000s throwback we always wanted will come true!
